As if Alex and I didn't get enough the first time, the girls and I decided to run it back on a clear day.

"Ain't no mountain high enough"
You GUYS it is craaaazy: I'm only in Hong Kong for one more week! Time to mega grind out these blog posts! Sorry for all the posts being out of order, I honestly just write about whatever fun memories I want to each time I sit down to write:)
Emily and I started the day off with a huge brunch at that sushi place in Sha Tin we went to the first day out of quarantine. We had tempura, salmon, avocado, udon, salad, and tofu. What a feast!

Instead of going the crazy way up like Alex and I did last time we hiked suicide cliff, Emily, Anna, Siona, and I took a more straightforward path that consisted of mainly steps for the whole way.

The humidity is killer in Hong Kong, especially when we hiked this! (hence the no shirt in like all my pictures lol). Here's the good 'ol helipad at the top of the mountain, where we laid down for a quick breather before sunset.

Also, you can see Lion's Rock in the distance! It's the mountain in the middle that is shaped like a lion's head, fun fact:)
After summiting the mountain, you have to walk down a staircase to get the iconic cliff part. (Throwback to when Alex and I legit couldn't see anything in front of us except clouds!!)

Luckily we went on a pretty clear day so the view is amazing!!

They have ropes at one point if you feel like it's too scary (love that my eyes are closed in the picture😂).

I absolutely love hiking along the ridge-line, it feels so freeing and amazing!!

We went to the most iconic spot and had a little photoshoot:)

Looove this view!

We passed by some other hikers and they handed me their phones one after another so they could go on the cliff and have me take their picture. I promise it looks wayyyy scarier that it actually is!! The hike itself is not bad, it's more the view of how high up you are, and knowing that you could fall if you get too close to the edge of the cliff.
We went back near the helipad to watch the sunset, which was super cool with the clouds in the sky:)

Each time I pause on the top of a mountain, everything becomes more full-circle and I'm hit with a wave of nostalgia for the good times that we've shared in Hong Kong!! We look over buildings we've been to, mountains we've hiked, and water that we've swam in.
I'm really gonna miss this place.
xoxo
Thank you for the beautiful photos and see you and friends 🤩 Will see you soon ! Be safe!❤️
