"Vi er røde, vi er hvide"

As much as we've been traveling, I've also been making the most of Copenhagen!

Last month we went to the Denmark vs. Israel football game!! Love love love the energy of the crowd. The Danish National Anthem has so much drunk chanting I thought it was just another chant at first 😂 Every two seconds we'd be chanting "we are red, we are white, we are dynamite" as Denmark scored goal after goal. We won 5-0!

Such a fun moment! It's crazy how UNC's football stadium is bigger than an entire country's national football stadium👀

Another fun thing I did was go kayaking with MH and George! There's a program called Green Kayak, where you can kayak for free if you pick up trash in the water:) I booked the kayaking spot at Amager Strandpark, which is a beautiful stretch of beach where you can see the bridge to Sweden in the distance.

Good times!

I've also been cooking a tonnn since eating at restaurants (like everything else in Copenhagen) is too expensive.

Also been going for long bike rides! A couple weeks ago I found this gem of a lake on my bike ride and stopped to read a book Emily got me!

Beautiful out here. I was so hungry after biking up a giant hill for a few miles that I screeched my bike to a halt cartoon-style when I saw apples falling from a tree above me. I Michael-Jordan-jumped to grab one only to turn around and see a man laughing at me. Turns out, it's his house🏃🏼‍♀️ Eeeee!! I apologized and he assured me no worries, then offered me some grapes that were growing in his garden, "I can't at all of these! I can see you wanted something to eat" haha.

So I carried on eating grapes Greek-goddess-style around this lake.

I also FaceTimed a friend I haven't talked to in a hot minute! When the sun was starting to set over the water, boats and swans bobbed on the lake and I was asking myself when is Ryan Gosling going to appear?? It was The Notebook but real life.

On the way back from the bike ride that day I passed by this super super cool church!
